JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited guidance directs the Corporation's Human Resources functions: Recruitment, Employee Relations, Employee Retention, Training and HRIS. Actively participates in the strategic planning process developing human resources programs which facilitate achievement of corporate objectives.
Reporting to the CEO, the CHRO directs Recruitment, Training, and Employee Relations.
- Actively participates in developing Human Resource strategies to facilitate the achievement of corporate and division goals.
- Maintains the Senior Management Contingency Plan and other succession plans. Performs an annual compliance risk assessment and an annual review of vendors to identify compliance risk.
- Oversees the relationship between Training and the on-line learning system.
- Develops the annual Affirmative Action Plan. Updates the Personnel Policy Manual and the Employee Handbook to insure that the organization remains compliant with all federal, state, and municipal laws.
- Coordinates labor litigation activities with outside counsel.
- Oversees the Worker’s Compensation program. Manages the company’s outsourced service providers.
- Candidate should demonstrate managerial responsibility for the Human Resource function in complex organizations, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s is highly desirable.
- Must have experience in conducting investigations and Board of Directors involvement.
- Candidates must possess excellent leadership abilities as well as interpersonal and presentation skills.
