WIHD is actively recruiting an experienced primary care physician to work part-time, flexible, 2-4 days per week in Valhalla, NY. The Internist/Primary Care Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to include well visits, chronic disease and acute care illnesses and developing relationships with adult patients with IDD.

WIHD provides the broadest array of health services and medical specialties in Westchester and beyond to serve the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. In addition to primary care, we offer many behavioral health resources including psychiatry, neurology, and behavioral psychology. WIHD offers appointments with medical specialties from cardiology to podiatry, as well as comprehensive dental care. We evaluate and meet our patients’ needs for shoes, braces, and wheelchairs. Qualifications:

• Candidates must be Board-Certified and hold or able to obtain a New York State Medical License, MD or DO.
• Experience in clinical, administrative and educational leadership preferred.
• Ideal candidates will have experience or a passion working with individuals with development disabilities.

Salary Range: $100 - $115 Per Hour.
