Job Description Summary:
The Ammunition Operations Supervisor leads Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) operations for the U.S. Army’s Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Logistics Support Services contract. This role requires a minimum of five years of supervisory experience and comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures in supply/ASP management. The Ammunition Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring effective accountability of all assigned property and supporting the ASP Manager in identifying areas for improvement and implementing operational enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees ASP operations to ensure successful completion of mission objectives, including funding, storage, workload management, and inventory control.
- Ensures compliance with safety protocols, including explosive safety and physical security policies.
- Collaborates with the ASP Manager and Leads to communicate work priorities, task assignments, and requirements.
- Supports the identification of areas of needed emphasis and recommends improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitors and enforces adherence to organizational policies regarding the accurate logging of work time in WESTECH's electronic timesheets.
General Duties:
- Supervises ASP personnel to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assists in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by enforcing safety protocols and participating in safety inspections.
- Supports effective communication channels between ASP personnel and upper management.
- Provides timely and accurate reports on ASP operations, including inventory status and operational challenges.
- Participates in meetings, briefings, and training sessions to stay informed about organizational goals, priorities, and initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five or more years of supervisory experience with comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions in supply/ASP management.
- Proficiency in automated systems utilized for ASP operations.
- Meet the requirements of AMC-R 350-4, Appendix B, and be capable of being appointed as an inspector.

- Thorough understanding of ASP operations and inventory management processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and support in implementing operational enhancements.
- Familiarity with explosive safety and physical security protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Daily work in an ammunition and explosive storage area is required.
- Adherence to proper lifting procedures and practices is mandatory.
- Must be able to work safely at heights.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as stooping and climbing as needed.
