What You'll DoWestern Alliance Bank is seeking passionate, results-driven Full Stack Developer to deliver innovative, industry leading solutions. We want a creative, highly-motivated developer lead who can take initiative, have good sense of urgency and is comfortable working in a fast paced, agile environment.
This position is onsite (4 days in office with 1 remote day) and must be in Columbus, OH or Phoenix, AZ.
What We Are Looking For
- Works both independently and as part of a cohesive team to deliver innovative software solutions to customers and business partners
- Analyzes business requirements and translates those requirements into tangible work tasks
- Collaborates closely with peer developers, QA testers, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner
- Architect, design, create and maintain the full stack (front end and back end) of customer-facing cloud-based applications.
- Participate in the creation of new products and prototypes from scratch
- Develop front and back end website/app architecture
- Contribute to continuous improvements of the existing product suite
- Conduct code reviews
- Ensure web products are responsive and optimized for a variety of devices such as low-end mobile phones, desktop
- Proactively identify and fix issues to improve backend service scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance
- Respond to urgent bugs in a timely manner alongside engineers
- Help foster good software engineering practices.
- Follow relevant company procedures and help create and maintain relevant documentation.
- Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process.
- 7 years experience in analyzing, designing and developing using Microsoft Technologies and .Net framework.
- 7 years Full-Stack development using Angular and .Net as Frontend and Backend technologies.
- Good to have experience working in other UI technologies like React, Node JS, Vue JS.
- Extensive experience with ASP.NET Web APIs to build Restful APIs.
- Good working experience in building applications using .Net MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- 5 years of experience with IaaS, PaaS and SaaS resources in Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
- 5 years of solutioning and designing high available client facing production grade responsive applications.
- 5 years of experience using Git, TFS/Azure DevOps for source control / project tracking / build management.
- 5 years of experience in Database using SQL Server.
- Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to learn new technologies and deliver results in an aggressive production environment.
- Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be self-motivated and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work in Scrum/Agile environment to plan and estimate the work at different levels.
- Cloud Architect certification is a plus.
