THE OPPORTUNITY
Western Forest Products is hiring for a Production Superintendent to be based out of our Columbia Vista Division in Vancouver, WA .
What You'll Do: With the overarching objective of Defining a Higher Standard in safety and continuous improvement, the Production Superintendent is responsible for delivering Dry Kiln, Planer, and Remanufacturing production volumes in a manner that support the Company’s safety, sustainability, production, and financial goals. The Production Superintendent is a leadership role in the operation and provides direction for the safe and efficient coordination of Company employees and contractors.
Who You Are: You are a strong leader with a personal commitment to safe work practices who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate has thorough knowledge of and experience with lumber, quality, and grading standards. We are looking for a highly organized leader with 8-10 years of experience in Lumber Manufacturing Operations and thorough knowledge of lumber manufacturing including equipment, processes, and products. You are eager to learn and want to grow with an industry leader in the ever-evolving, sustainable forestry sector.
