Qualifications for the Production Hose Assembler include, but are not limited to :

  • Possess a Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience in Shipping & Receiving operations.
  • Familiarity with UPS World Ship procedures.
  • Proficient in using measurement devices such as tape measures.
  • Experience in operating wood saws.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
  • Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, crucial in identifying order discrepancies and product deficiencies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Capable of working autonomously or as part of a collaborative team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Production Hose Assembler include :

  • Coordinate shipping and receiving operations with multiple carriers, including UPS, LTL, and our own WIT delivery truck.
  • Learn and master hose assembly techniques through provided training.
  • Efficiently pick up and deliver materials and parts as needed.
  • Organize and restock products in both the warehouse and retail shelves / bins.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Keep the supervisor informed about inventory status, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other machinery required for moving heavy items within the warehouse.
  • Fulfill any other duties assigned to contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse.
