Qualifications for the Production Hose Assembler include, but are not limited to :
- Possess a Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in Shipping & Receiving operations.
- Familiarity with UPS World Ship procedures.
- Proficient in using measurement devices such as tape measures.
- Experience in operating wood saws.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
- Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail, crucial in identifying order discrepancies and product deficiencies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Capable of working autonomously or as part of a collaborative team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Production Hose Assembler include :
- Coordinate shipping and receiving operations with multiple carriers, including UPS, LTL, and our own WIT delivery truck.
- Learn and master hose assembly techniques through provided training.
- Efficiently pick up and deliver materials and parts as needed.
- Organize and restock products in both the warehouse and retail shelves / bins.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse environment.
- Keep the supervisor informed about inventory status, shipments, and deliveries.
- Safely operate forklifts and other machinery required for moving heavy items within the warehouse.
- Fulfill any other duties assigned to contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse.
