Job Summary: The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes. Benefits

Pay Range: $29.00/hr.-$35.00/hr.- Depending on Experience Job Duties
Provide front desk reception and answer HR phone lines
Monitor and respond to HR Admin email
Create and maintain confidential personnel files
Provide clerical and technical support
Perform records management activities according to the Local Government Common Records Retention Schedule (CORE)
Administer the employee recognition program
Compose routine correspondence using proper grammar and punctuation
Communicate effectively and professionally
Distribute new employee paperwork and welcome email materials
Respond to verification of employment requests within 24 hours
Run various reports and queries exporting information from SAP
Timekeeping for staff
Perform employee purchase card reconciliation for department staff
Prepare new hire paperwork and complete the onboarding process for new employees, including running backgrounds.
Notify management when new hires are good to start.
Monitor completion of pre-employment tasks.
Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
Support human resources special projects, job fairs and community events.
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma
1 year in Human Resources
Associate's degree -Preferred not required- You may replace with work experience
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Previous experience working in the Trades preferred but not required
