General Summary
Coordinates and supports employer engagement programs and developmental events year-round. Assists in collecting and managing employment data from students and employers.
Major Duties
- Supports employer relations and job development. Coordinates major career events and recruits volunteers for event support.
- Assists with employer inquiries related to hiring students and event participation.
- Promotes career development activities and employer resources. Supports event management.
- Supports employer relationship management.
- Assists with career fair registrations and event promotion.
- Provides Handshake support.
- Assists with planning developmental events.
- Collaborates with academic departments to reserve locations, parking, and ensure the website is up to date. Monitors email accounts and calendars to ensure efficient on-campus recruiting activities.
- Monitors and tracks internships, surveys employers, and reports recruiting activity data.
- Hires, trains, evaluates, and supervises student employees.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or two years’ college coursework in a related field from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Some relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
- Ability to work irregular shifts including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical requirements and working conditions
- Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting/moving materials less than 25 pounds.
