Western Nebraska Community College is Hiring an Accounting Specialist II Near Scottsbluff, NE
Western Nebraska Community College is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Accounting Specialist II.
Responsibilities:
Perform tasks necessary for processing payroll for the college; prepare documents for computerized journal entries as required; reconcile payroll liabilities; submit payroll tax reporting and payments as required; perform a variety of technical accounting duties relative to area of assignment; and serve as backup to other accounting positions within the department. Must be familiar with college policies and institutional, FERPA, and GLBA confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications:
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major course work in accounting, business or a related field and four years of increasingly responsible payroll experience.
Salary:
Wage begins at $21 per hour but may be increased due to education and experience. Excellent benefits.
Start Date:
Immediate.
