Occupational Therapy Operations & Enrollment Support Specialist
To provide day to day operational support for the occupational therapy distance learning cohort, including preparing and maintaining highly confidential material and files, assist in the development and implementation of regular on-going activities such as immersive session scheduling and booking including housing and meal arrangements, proctor and standardized patient management and scheduling, as well as special one-time projects assigned. Additionally, this role will focus on OTD enrollment and retention via management of OTD social media accounts including developing and maintaining connections with OTD alumni, scheduling of prospective OTD student visits, supporting marketing and admissions with review of OTD marketing materials, assisting the OTD Distance Coordinator with ensuring that on-campus and distance students have equitable access to extracurricular activities and student support services, as well as special one-time projects assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent professional communication style, both written and verbal.
  • Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel), email applications, Internet use, data entry, and database applications.
  • Strong skills in the use of common social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy and/or higher education.
  • Ability to learn new software and databases.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with administration, faculty, external constituents, and students.
  • Ability to interact effectively in a highly diverse professional environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
