Responsible for skillfully preserving and dissecting skin tissue specimens. Promotes quality client/patient relations and creates supportive climate by serving as a role model for behavior. Respect and maintain the confidentiality of information relative to the laboratory. Adheres to all laboratory policies and regulations. Works with minimal direction; consults with technologists and general supervisor as needed. Functions as a liaison between the laboratory and laboratory clients. Operates general laboratory equipment, including by not limited to: telephones, computer keyboards and, and microscopes. Effectively communicates via written, verbal, face-to-face, telephone, and computer methods.
Position Hours: Full-time or Part-Time: Monday - Friday, 11am-7pm
Responsibilities and Duties:
Qualifications and skills: Must meet minimal CLIA requirements of testing personnel for high complexity testing
Education: Requirements include an associate's degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology or equivalent. Candidate will need to provide official transcripts to be credentialed before being hired.
