Westminster Canterbury Richmond is Hiring a Manager Information Technology Near Richmond, VA

Brief DescriptionWestminster Canterbury Richmond is looking for a Manager Information Technology to provide technical support to our community of 700 employees and 800 residents. The IT Support Specialist responds to and diagnoses a wide range of customer issues submitted to the Help Desk and is responsible for the installation and technical support of computers and peripherals.
This full-time position works onsite at our beautiful community nestled in the historic Bellevue neighborhood.

RequirementsMAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
  • Interview, hire, supervise, coach, evaluate, discipline and assist employees in setting and meeting performance goals. Develop and monitor the performance and responsibilities of assigned staff while monitoring staffing patterns.
  • Work with Vice President Information Technology to prepare annual budget, statistical information and reports as requested
  • Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Remain current on new developments in the areas of software, hardware, networking, storage, telecommunications and security
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the entire network, data center as well as all Information Technology projects
  • Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Manage the Help Desk operations
  • Responsible for creating and administering IT backup plan
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of all network technology
  • Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Considerable walking, stooping, kneeling, sitting, standing reaching and lifting
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance, 26 pounds with manual or mechanical assistance
Required Knowledge, Skills And Ability
  • Familiarity with Enterprise network and system design
  • Strong knowledge of network administration in an Enterprise Windows environment
  • Information Technology budget preparation and control
  • Ability to plan and implement technology based on the needs of the business
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve desired results
  • Proficient in Information Technology Project Management
  • Knowledge of systems audit trail and security needed to satisfy audit requirements
  • Knowledge of backup/restore technology as well as disaster recovery
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to speak publicly
  • Analyze situations and make sound technical decisions concerning the Information Technology infrastructure

  • Microsoft SharePoint programming and administration
  • SQL Database administration
Required Education And Experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Associates Degree in Information Technology or 5 years of enterprise network management.
  • 1 to 3 years supervisory experience or combination of project management and/or progressive IT operations experience.
Desired Education And Experience
  • Healthcare Information Technology experience
  • Enterprise Microsoft Infrastructure experience
  • Experience in a healthcare or senior living environment
