Overview:
Westminster School is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Maintenance/Operations Assistant. As a Maintenance/Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our school. Job Description:

• Assist with keeping buildings and grounds maintained and in pristine condition
• Assist with direct facility maintenance and repairs
• Assist with overall security including building opening and lockup after nighttime events
• Set up and break down for numerous events throughout the year, including constructing play sets
• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of products
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines
• Provide miscellaneous assistance to office and administrative staff

School Bus Operations:

• Must have a School Bus CDL, or be willing to earn one within the first six months
• Substitute bus driving on an emergency basis only

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• State and federal background clearance
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members

Skills required:

• Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical
• Physically fit and strong
• Quality work ethic
• Artistry and creativity are bonuses

Hours:

• Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
• Some weekend and weeknight events
