WNESU Special Education Paraeducators 2024-2025 School YearWNESU is seeking paraeducators to join our team at Westminster Center School to support elementary-aged children with cognitive and social skill needs. Candidates must have experience working with children with communication challenges, the ability to work collaboratively with a team of providers, skill in using technology for instruction and communication, and the capacity to implement academic, self-care, and social support interventions for students. Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum is preferred. These positions work closely with the Special Education Teacher with coaching/ support from related service providers and will require support of students’ personal care needs. Successful candidates will have 2 years of experience working with elementary aged children, an Associate’s degree in a related field, and the ability to use Google platform. This position follows the WNESU school calendar. Salary and benefits as per the Master Agreement between the WNESU Board and the WNESU Association.
