Westminster Village seeks Home Service Workers on an as needed basis with evening, morning, and weekend availability!!

Duties :

• Observation and Reporting : Observe the client's functioning and promptly report any changes or concerns to their supervisor, employer, or a person designated by the client.
• Household Chores : Assist with household chores, including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Support Outside Appointments : Aid in completing activities such as shopping and accompanying clients to appointments outside of the home.
• Companionship : Offer companionship to clients, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
• Documentation : Accurately complete appropriate records, documenting the services provided to clients.
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) : Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, and other non-medical personal tasks.
• Complete 10 hours of on-the-job training.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent. Current CPR certification is required. One year of experience working with geriatric people preferred.
