Bell services and driver of our hotel vehicle for guests in the surrounding 3-mile area and the shuttle (12-seater) for larger groups to surrounding businesses.
The Bellperson is responsible for helping guests in and out of the property, providing safe transportation, carrying baggage, and delivering items and information efficiently and pleasantly. This position will also be responsible for assisting guests with transportation by using hotel vehicles and vans.
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED certification preferred or equivalent work experience.
At least one year of guest service experience in a hospitality environment or equivalent experience is preferred.
Valid driver’s license for the applicable state and MVR in good standing.
Previous preferred customer service experience.
Flexible schedule to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Currently looking for weekend 10hr shift availability.
Physical Demands:
Long hours are sometimes required, including nights and weekends.
Heavy work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally or 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Able to stand for the entire shift.
Will be driving hotel vehicles.

Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.
Must be able to safely drive hotel vehicles.
Responsibilities may include any and all of the following:
Assist incoming and outgoing guests; explain features of a room to guests ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
Maintain thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities, outlets, and services for guests as opportunities to increase guest satisfaction and maximize hotel revenues.
Provide guests with local directions in a courteous and accurate manner.
Ensure baggage is secured and tagged at guest request to store baggage.
Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure appropriate action is taken. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction and keep all incidents well documented.
Ensure proper key procedures for all master locks and vehicle keys.
Maintain a friendly and approachable manner for all guest interactions.
Maintain mileage log and reports any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained for guests.
Follow company policies and procedures.
