The Westmoreland Intermediate Unit is seeking applicants for full-time Personal Care Assistants (PCA's) to work with students within our Early Intervention program who receive special education services at various sites across Westmoreland County. The PCA assists students with non-instructional activities such as eating, mobility, toileting, and activities of daily living. Prior experience preferred, but we are willing to train positive, motivated people. We invite you to apply for consideration to join our amazing team of professionals!
The pay rate is $13.80 per hour, and the schedule is up to 35 hours per week. Full-time PCAs receive 10 sick days and 3 PTO days per school year (prorated based on start date for those starting during the school year).

Minimum Education: high school diploma or equivalent
Requirements for this position include: Act 34, 114 (federal criminal history) and 151 clearances, Act 126 training, School Personnel Health Record (physical), and negative Tb Test.
