Role Overview: 

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centred design principles and a proven track record of delivering intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences for WeStock’s product. You will work closely with our development team and other stakeholders to create end-user value and ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.

• Brand Voice and Identity: Incorporate our brand voice and identity through colours, design elements and visual storytelling to create customer delight and a positive brand influence on the platform.
• User Research : In collaboration with other team members, conduct user journey research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
• Information Architecture : Develop and refine information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes to ensure logical flow and ease of use.
• Visual Design : Create high-fidelity mockups and design systems that align with our brand guidelines and enhance overall user experience.
• Interaction Design : Design user interfaces with a focus on interaction patterns and micro-interactions to improve usability and engagement.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Usability Testing : Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Prototyping : Develop interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and user flows to stakeholders.
• Design Systems : Maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products and platforms.
• Stay Updated : Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies and apply best practices to your work.

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final deliverables.
• Skills :
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices.
• Experience with conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
• A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
