What You’ll Do
- Delineating wetlands using the US Army Corps of Engineers methodology ,
- Environmental permitting, preferably in MA, NH, CT.
- Conducting ecological habitat assessments is a plus,
- Handling flexible workload, diverse project files, and working well with multiple staff members.
- Overseeing project teams with preparing permit applications for multi-disciplinary projects,
- Manage technical, budgetary and client aspects of projects.
- Assist with business development, marketing, and proposal preparation with support from senior management
- Attend public hearings and present projects to various committees and boards
- Establishing long-term relationships with municipal and private clients
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff
- Participate in professional organizations through presentations and/or technical committees
- Experience with public speaking at public hearings, workshops, and seminars.
- Ability to handle flexible workload, diverse project files, and working well with multiple staff members.
- Valid driver’s license is required. Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites
- Familiarity with Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Connecticut environmental permitting regulations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational/time management skills
- Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, team leadership, and mentoring
- Honest and ethical, producing high quality work, and a commitment to teamwork, respect, and integrity
