Job DescriptionHow will I help?Treasury Technology supports and delivers solutions for key functions in:
  • Group Treasury - intra-day liquidity management, portfolio risk management, securitisation, analytics
  • Treasury Finance - transfer pricing, regulatory liquidity reporting & hedge accounting
  • WIB Finance – Official daily P&L reporting & attribution, validation & distribution of EOD rates
The Senior Test Analyst role is required as the team:
  • is experiencing a substantial uplift in volume and complexity of change across its application portfolio.
  • requires an equivalent uplift in its testing capability in resources and solutions to achieve its business quality assurance objectives.
As a Senior Test Analyst, your main role will focus on engaging with a portfolio of programs and projects introducing change impacting Treasury Technology’s applications and their businesses.
  • You’ll be accountable for:
    • Integration , functional, non-functional & user acceptance testing
    • Developing and maintaining collaborative working relations with Senior Business Analysts and our Business Partners to:
      • Analyse user stories, use cases, requirements for validity and feasibility
      • Validate the business acceptance criteria ie evidence required to sign-off the change
      • Build up your business knowledge and apply that knowledge to risk/impact assessments and testing scope.
      • Determine, build and execute a comprehensive suite of test cases, test scenarios and test scripts for all assigned projects/enhancements to deliver consistent and quality outcomes.
      • Design and develop automation scripts when needed
      • Document evidence of actual v’s expected results
      • Provide regular updates on progress of allocated test designs and test cases to ensure testing deadlines are met
    • Determining if test pass or fail, record findings, and a nalyse unexpected results.
    • Provide detailed description of test cases that failed.
    • Presenting testing outcomes to Business partners for their sign-off
    • Owning and creating the test case traceability matrix.
    • Automating testing processes where feasible.
    • Contributing to the defect lifecycle – defect triage, retest and reporting
    • Contributing to in-house testing standards and processes.
    • Actively contribute to the Team’s testing framework, processes, methodologies, policies, standards and tools by participating in related brainstorming sessions, forums and workshops to ensure continuous improvement

What do I need?To be set up for success in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Mandatory - Strong technical skills and abilities including databases and SQL.
  • Mandatory - Ability to create, execute & present UAT test plans, business focused test cases and scripts.
  • Mandatory - Experience of writing test plans and test cases in the database and data analytics spaces.
  • Mandatory – Project delivery in Banking (preferably in Investment Banking)
  • Mandatory - experience of integration, functional, non-functional & user acceptance testing
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Project Management and Analytics software
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Skilled at testing process and methodologies
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
