Overview:
We are seeking someone who is dedicated and detail-oriented to join our team. They will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for employees, church members, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to upholding cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, corridors, and common areas.
2. Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated receptacles.
3. Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures.
4. Refill restroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
5. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure a streak-free shine.
6. Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, including wiping down tables and countertops, and floors.
7. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify management of any shortages.
8. Follow proper safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.
9. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to facilities management.
10. Perform light maintenance of facility fixtures as needed.
11. Assist with special cleaning projects or tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
2. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment is advantageous.
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
5. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
7. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events, as needed.
9. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
