About the Team / Role
This role works on the planning and implementation of projects that support the marketing function. This position oversees the communications and marketing collateral specific to employee benefits industry .
This position works within the marketing department, collaborating with various marketing professionals to create a unified and consistent message to the intended audience.
This position also interacts directly with marketing managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions and requests from the sales organization and / or other key stakeholders.
This role works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.
How you'll make an impact
Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing and communications activities that support overall audience marketing and communications objectives
Maintain an inventory and directory of marketing and communications support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed
Create content for customer communications, web, social, email campaigns, promotional materials, and newsletters
Oversee the design of educational and promotional materials
Develop and execute customer and stakeholder communications and email campaigns
Review materials and content created by the marketing team
Report on effectiveness of external communications
Experience you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience
Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite products (Indesign, Photoshop)
Experience with email campaign strategy, writing email campaigns and campaign analysis
Experience working in systems such as Salesforce and Pardot for campaign management
Highly self-motivated individual who works equally well both independently with some supervision and in a team environment
Graphic design experience
Strong presentation skills
Relationship and team building skills
Background in marketing strategies and techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confidence in dealing with challenging situations
Ability to think creatively
Detail orientation, organizational skills, multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous projects
Strong decision-making with the ability to work independently and as a team
Public speaking skills
Ability to facilitate the flow of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to quality control measures and project goals, including working effectively with internal and external resources to ensure a smooth and productive flow of work
Location : preferably near Cincinnati / Mason, OH for occasional in-office collaboration
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan.
Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. WEX's comprehensive and market competitive benefits are designed to support your personal and professional well-being.
