About the Team/Role

The WEX Health Payment Operations Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and development of a secure, efficient and scalable Payment Operations team. This role involves co-leading a team of non-exempt employees who are providing inbound payment processing support to the WEX Health Partner base.

How you'll make an impact

• Manage and provide oversight of day-to-day operations

• Utilize WEX Health Cloud products to perform essential job functions

• Maximize Payment Operations processes to increase accuracy and productivity

• Responsible for selecting, developing, and evaluating staff

• Ensure appropriate documentation is in place to support, develop, enhance, test and train Payment Operations team members

• Work closely with Manager to ensure team is appropriately staffed to handle workload

• Provide leadership to team by displaying positive attitude, being open to questions and being able to delegate duties accordingly

• Create and report monthly payment data to company executives and business partners as needed

• Data entry with 10-key proficiency

• Basic reconciliation and balancing activities

• Respond to Partner support cases

• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business discipline preferred

• 2 years in payment operations or related experience

• 2 years of leadership experience; hiring, building, coaching and driving a team for results

• Intermediate Excel experience

• Prior experience with Google Drive preferred

• Prior experience with Gmail preferred

• Prior customer service experience preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization

• Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business relationships with partners and team members

• Ability to work effectively individually and within a team environment

• Ability to use and leverage technology

• Ability to understand complex business processes and maintain strict attention to detail

• Effective problem-solving skills, highly self-motivated and directed
