About these roles: The Veteran Employment Transition (VET) Program is a nationwide 8-week Spring and Fall development program that converts directly to a full-time opportunity based on performance. We’re hiring a class of 35 - 45 to begin on September 25th starting with an intensive training and orientation led by professional instructors and senior Wells Fargo employees. You'll network with your peers and Wells Fargo leaders while developing your skills and knowledge of our financial products and services before joining a team of experienced Wells Fargo employees for on-the-job training and development. (Only exceptions: terminal leave and/or traditional Guard or Reserve status, these are eligible) Program Required Qualifications: 6 months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Service in any branch of the United States military Able to work on the first day of the program, September 25, 2024 In these roles you will: The Control Management Group has the following opportunity within the Chief Operating Office (COO): Lead Control Management Officer (Available locations: Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Iseline, NJ; New York, NY; San Antonio, TX) Aid in the enterprise design, implementation and ongoing program management for the Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) program, in coordination with other program areas by providing program management execution and reporting across multiple initiatives on planned milestones, dependencies and risks Lead management of enterprise project/action plan elements assigned to RCSA throughout the full project lifecycle, including measurement/communication of progress, achievements and metrics dashboard reporting Provide risk, issue, change management, and dependency management across the RCSA program Facilitate development of front-line processes and procedures for RCSA program requirements Manage development of RCSA training, job aids, playbooks and other support resources Monitor RCSA front-line process/procedure implementation execution and escalate risks/issues as required, ensuring that program requirements are fulfilled Drive consistent high-quality execution of the RCSA program across all lines of defense and partner organizations Facilitate and support teams through the governance and execution of assessments Provide training and day to day support to assessors regarding RCSA methodology Manage SharePoint, workflow intake and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to RCSA assessments Develop status reports, presentations and materials for a diverse audience of senior leaders, demonstrating ability to draw insights and conclusions from content originating from multiple sources and of various quality levels Synthesize insights and conclusions into a cohesive story/executive presentation aligned with enterprise objectives Document process and tool improvement opportunities, reporting use cases and overall lessons learned Contribute as an advocate for the front-line assessment team to a strategic risk and control platform buildout Desired Qualifications: 5 years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 5 years of Managing Operational Risk and applying risk-based mitigation principles to achieve organizational goals Strong expertise in risk identification and mitigation methodology, process development, execution, and reporting Experience managing large scale initiatives and business processes requiring coordination from multiple lines of business to achieve organizational goals Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies and plans to encourage employee adoption and minimize resistance Experience in designing and delivering training programs to address unique challenges and requirements resulting from a change in the business environment Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with an ability to interact effectively with employees at various levels within the organization Strong relationship-building and project management skills Experience working in a matrixed environment with the ability to develop and manage relationships internally and externally to your organization Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Experience developing and executing organizational plans and initiatives allowing the organization to adapt to changes in the business environment Ability to synthesize material from multiple sources to create logically structured content that clearly communicates the intended topic to a wide range of audiences Demonstrate strength delivering effective solutions from concept to execution BS/BA degree or higher, MBA or other advanced degree preferred Experience with reporting and data base tools Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint Job Expectations: Adhere to the Wells Fargo Return To Office (RTO) stipulations which require employees to work in an approved core location, 3 days a week Pay Range: Charlotte: $32.00 - $99.00 Dallas: $32.00 - $99.00 Iseline: $32.00 - $99.00 New York: $32.00 - $99.00 San Antonio: $32.00 - $99.00 Actual VET Program compensation is determined by location, experience, and qualifications of the job.
