Specialty Restaurant Corporation is looking for Event Coordinators to open our new location, Whiskey Joe's Pensacola Beach

Event Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Maintains effective customer relations to facilitate good relationships with prospective, new and returning clients via telephone, email or in-person to provide relevant special event information.
  • Follow-up on contractual, logistical or payment information according to established procedures and deadlines.
  • Performs the full range of scheduling, coordination and record keeping activities to ensure the proper and efficient communication.
  • Archive and administration of catering sales activities in accordance with established procedures and deadlines.
  • Performs routine invoicing, payment, follow-up, and record-keeping functions according to established cash-collection and accounting procedures.
  • Maintains accurate records in the Companys approved automated contracting system in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Communicates developments within location by attending Catering Sales Department meetings.
  • Organizes tastings and other appointments with clients, maintains records, and communicates logistical information to restaurant department heads.
  • Coordinates the ordering, tracking and receipt of office supplies, outsourced event items, etc., in accordance with purchase requisition standards, specifications from Sales Managers, etc.
  • As requested by management, performs other work activities to support the safe and efficient operation of the Catering Sales Department and restaurant.
