Bookkeeper and HR Manager
Commodity Futures Broker in Stuart, FL
Overview: Full-charge bookkeeper to carry out daily bookkeeping and HR activities of small, local business. Must be proficient in using Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and Excel. Working knowledge of cash and accrual accounting procedures as well as knowledge of Balance Sheet and Income Statement preparation and presentation required.
Must also have experience in the use of payroll service in processing of payroll and comprehensive understanding of payroll, payroll reports and tax payments.
Must also have experience in HR related duties including handling of employee benefits and compliance requirements.
Must be self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Invoicing and collection of Accounts Receivable
Management and timely payment of Accounts Payable
Bank Reconciliations
Preparation of month end Financial Statements
Preparation of payroll and tax payments
Preparation of quarterly and annual state and federal payroll reports
Manage employee benefits
General office administration
Salary based on experience. Must be willing to undergo background, credit and reference checks and drug testing.
Schedule: M-F 8:00-4:00 in office
