Come join our team at White Oak Manor Charlotte! We are looking for a Full-time Assistant Dietary Director. Looking for someone that have completed high school and an approved Diet Technician or Dietary Manager's Course. Must be a Registered Diet Technician (DTR0 or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or examination eligible. We need someone who is dependable, hands on, and is a leader.

Our facility is located near uptown Charlotte at 4009 Craig Ave., Charlotte, NC. We are a 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility and we have assisted living apartments on the same beautiful campus.

Basic Job Duties Include:

•  Monitors breakfast meal to assure:

  a. Menu and recipes are followed

  b. Temperatures taken on steam line

  c. Breakfast trays are accurate

  d. Carts delivered on time

• Oversees food service for special events with coordination of Kitchen Supervisor.

•  Develops cleaning schedule

•  Assigns responsibilities with coordination of Kitchen Supervisor.

•  Monitors for follow through

• Ordering food, etc. on a bi-weekly basis via Direct Order Entry, with manager

• Checking each order against budget goals and maintaining necessary records as assigned
• Implementing computer tray card system
• Updating for new admissions and/or resident change
• Communicates appropriate information to the Dietary Manager and Administrator to keep them informed and up to date on department functioning and needs
