JOB TITLE: Nurse Practitioner (NP) APRN – Pre-Surgical Testing

JOB TYPE: Full Time ; M- F; 5x8 hours week

Pre-Surgical Testing PA Day Shifts 5 x 8 hours with White Plains Hospital, 25 miles from Manhattan.

White Plains Hospital, a 292 bed, leading award-winning hospital, located in Westchester, 25 miles north of Manhattan, NY is looking for a full time Pre-Surgical Testing Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team.

The Pre-Surgical Testing APP will perform preoperative medical assessments for patients undergoing elective surgery.

• · No evening/ night call required
• · Shifts will be outpatient (perioperative medicine clinic in the hospital)
• · Responsibilities include collaborating with physician to provide perioperative assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PRE-SURGICAL TESTING NURSE PRACTITINER NP/ APRN

• · Graduation from Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
• · Current New York State Licensure
• · Current National Certification
• · Current DEA Licensure
• · Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS)
• · Experience conducting patient histories is preferred
• · Training will be provided for candidates new to the field
