Your role: You will play a key role in driving sales and enhancing the overall customer experience through effective merchandising strategies. You will serve as a visionary leader who will help White Warren to capture market share from our competition. This role will shape and maximize the future direction for White Warren, working closely with design, marketing, and planning to build an assortment strategy that propels us forward with the target consumer top of mind. Reporting to the VP of Planning/Merchandising.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement the overall merchandising strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives.
  • Work closely with designer to develop innovative and high-performing products that align with brand DNA.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and operations, to ensure a cohesive merchandising approach.
  • Create and maintain product assortments that meet the needs and expectations of our target customers.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed merchandising decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee digital visual merchandising strategies to create attractive and engaging product displays.
  • Communicate and present merchandising strategies and results to senior leadership.
  • Bring awareness and motivation around merchandising strategies.

Qualifications Skills:

  • 7 years of prior relevant experience; previous experience with knitwear is a must
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take calculated risks
  • Ability to process information quickly and draw conclusions
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse teams
  • Experience in merchandising roles within the retail fashion industry in a leadership position
