Position Summary :
The person in this position is required to perform maintenance related duties in order to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of assigned water or wastewater facilities.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Education or background in water and/or wastewater treatment or supporting technical field (Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical).
• 5 to 7 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred or 5 to 7 years in a regulated industry.
• Relevant work experience including but not be limited to water/wastewater treatment plant troubleshooting, operation and maintenance, hazardous material handling, storage or containment.
• Ability to read, interpret and utilize information found in blueprints, schematics, technical manuals diagrams and equipment specifications.
• Basic knowledge of MA Water/Wastewater regulatory requirements.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license.
• Must possess valid MA 2B Hoisting License or be capable of obtaining one within 6 months.
