Registered Nurse

We are seeking a registered nurse to work on a flexible, part-time basis, offering an excellent opportunity for those looking to supplement their current role with meaningful, rewarding work.

What will you be doing?

Duties and responsibilities will include the following;

• Deliver a high standard of care according to the specific requirements of each client’s individual needs
• Work alongside staff members as part of an integrated, interdisciplinary team
• Follow a model of care that supports the wellness of our clients and staff
• Serve as a primary source of medical information for patients and caregivers
• Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for clients and their families
• Identify, assess, and monitor clients’ health conditions
• Administer medications and provide treatment according to specific needs
• Provide caregiver education, medication review, home care coordination, and specialist referrals when required
• Provide clinical services within the scope of practice, as defined by Oregon state laws
• Provide information and training to caregivers to ensure clients are given the best possible treatment
• Ensure that all treatments and medications are fully documented in clients’ records

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will need bachelor's degree in nursing and a state license as requirements for consideration. You will also need to be trained in BLS/CPR and be able to meet all in-state rules and regulations. A professional, friendly attitude and effective communication skills are keys to becoming successful in this role.

As well as this the following are required;

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
• 2 years nursing experience, preferably in a home care environment
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in Oregon
• CPR certification preferred
• Must maintain continuing education requirements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work efficiently in rapidly changing environments
• Must meet all Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) and pass background check
• Excellent knowledge of State and Federal In Home Care regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and ClearCare
• Valid driver’s license and transportation; ability to travel as required
• As an in-home care agency our staff are not required to be vaccinated
