The ideal Account Manager/Sales Rep has proven success on a mostly commission based compensation plan, has experience managing large B2B accounts (transportation and automotive industry strongly preferred), is a customer service superstar, and can't imagine being in any other role than sales!
Responsibilities:
  • Consulting with Dealers and Key accounts on the use of our transportation services
  • Cultivating leads and explaining Wholesale Express services to potential clients
  • Developing trusting and lasting relationships with new dealers/customers, and serving as a consultant to show the services and benefits of Wholesale Express
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all customers/dealers and potential customers/dealers
  • Becoming a subject matter expert that will analyze client business needs and propose the best solutions for your dealers/accounts
  • Performing timely follow-up on all inquiries
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in the industry, such as competition, trucking industry updates, wholesale industry updates, and selling techniques
  • More duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service role
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a B2B Sales Role managing large accounts
  • Experience in the transportation and/or automotive industries strongly preferred
  • Enjoys working with guests via phone and internet
  • Driven to reach goals and to succeed on a performance-based pay-plan (mostly commission)
  • Works well both in a team environment as well as independently
  • Self Motivated and Driven!
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer relation skills
  • Desire to learn about and keep up to speed on the transportation and automotive industries and competitors
  • Honest, Loyal, Organized, and Outgoing
  • Proven ability to build trusting and lasting business relationships
  • Phone skills
  • Technology and internet savvy
