We run a woman-owned, family-style dinner service in Costa Mesa. We we prepare delicious homestyle classics from a ghost kitchen to families in the surrounding areas.

We’re rapidly expanding and in need of a strong and dependable line cook.

We're not just looking for a cook - we need a seasoned, responsible prep / line cook who wants to be part of a great team with a positive, productive vibe.

Significant kitchen experience is required, along with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.

30 hours per week 12-7 or 10-6

Responsibilities :

• Cutting, chopping, and storing
• Cooking (boiling noodles, browning meat, following recipes)
• Dishwashing and returning the kitchen to a clean state
• Portioning ingredients
• Building boxes
• Assembling orders

Requirements :

• Current food handlers permit
• Appropriate dress : closed-toe shoes, long hair pulled back
• At least 1 year experience in a kitchen
• Ability to safely and efficiently handle a knife
• Own transportation
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
