The Care Partner assists in the provision of patient care and clerical support under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Care Partner is responsible for meeting and maintaining established patient care standards and providing patient/family centered care while providing service excellence. At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core Care Partner Skills & Responsibilities.

Department: PRN Float

Shift: Rotating (630a to 7p, 1030a-11p, 630p-7a for twelve hour shifts)

Hours: 36-40 (12 or 8 hour shifts) Full-Time or Part-Time available

Experience

• Ability to perform tasks on attached Care Partner Core Skills Checklist or achieves satisfactory skill performance within 90 days of employment.

• 2 year(s): Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a nursing assistant/nursing program, or two (2) years recent experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• 1 - 3 years: One (1) – three (3) years in a clerical position in healthcare - including physician office or insurance billing - with exposure to patient records, diagnoses, or dictation preferred.
