We're seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team, focusing on expanding our portfolio in Middlesex County, NJ. This onsite position is immediately available in Fords, New Jersey, making proximity to the area advantageous. The current project in Fords, NJ is a 4-story senior residential apartments consisting of 75 units (50 one bedroom and 25 efficiency units). Ground floor includes a community room with fitness center and library, outside patio, administrative offices, and a laundry room (on designated floors), Energy Star construction with adjoining café. Immediately after the completion of the project explained above, next project is in the lot right next expected to begin about October 2024; A multifamily with 113 Apartments with amenities such as a fitness center, outdoor deck and community lounges. The ideal candidate will possess 7-10 years of multifamily construction experience as well as superintendent experience, wood/stick frame construction with the ability to effectively lead all trades throughout the project lifecycle and be comfortable using technology and have at least a working knowledge of the construction software ProCore. Key responsibilities include supervising trade subcontractors, managing project schedules, liaising with project consultants to ensure adherence to plans and specifications, maintaining regular communication with the project manager, coordinating inspections with municipal officials, reviewing shop drawings, and managing change orders. The Superintendent should demonstrate both independent work and collaborative teamwork. We're seeking a motivated, energetic, and highly organized communicator with a strong passion for construction. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers.
