Assembles equipment according to established procedures to ensure that production goals and customer requirements are satisfied.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Work with a team to assemble entire products or components.
2. Rotate through tasks for specific production processes.
3. Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
4. Prepare finished products for shipment.
5. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
6. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
7. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs/rework in consultation with Engineering.
8. Assists with training other assemblers as needed.
9. Perform accurate record keeping.
10. Follow established assembly procedures.
11. Adhere to safety guidelines and ESD guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Background

1. Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related field
2. This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a U.S. person or protected individual within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines U.S. persons and protected individuals as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), U.S. Temporary Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Skills
1. Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.
2. Ability to read and understand assembly drawings written in English.
3. Knowledge of soldering.
4. Knowledge of mixing and application of adhesives and potting compounds.
5. Ability to handle physical workload.
6. Ability to work well in teams.
7. Ability to thrive in a demanding environment.
8. Knowledge of safety guidelines.
