**JOB SUMMARY**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our growing coffee shop. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the business, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, maintaining inventory, and fostering a welcoming environment for both customers and team members.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

Operational Leadership:

- Runs shifts effectively with daily deployment sheet to ensure quality products, excellent guest service and restaurant cleanliness while maintaining labor and food costs.

- Performs restaurant opening and closing procedures effectively.

- Performs any other miscellaneous job duties as assigned.

Financial Management:

- Performs and understands managerial functions with the POS system.

- Responsible for restaurant cash management.

- Monitors inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for shift based on current restaurant sales.

Staff Management:

- Follows and implements policies and procedures effectively holding team members accountable for their actions and/or behaviors.

- Holds team accountable for following proper uniform standards including grooming and jewelry guidelines.

- Demonstrates positive and effective role modeling for team members as a coach and mentor to promote team member growth and the development of a high performing team.

Compliance & Safety:

- Ensures the accurate completion and follow through of all food safety practices and employment law compliance.

Customer Service Excellence:

- Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction. Address customer concerns promptly and effectively to maintain a positive reputation.

Qualifications:

- Must be willing to work food establishment hours & holidays based on business needs.

**EXPERIENCE**

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years management experience, or an associates degree with a Business minor. Experience must include hiring, onboarding, training & development.

The ideal candidate must also have a minimum of 5 years in a high volume restaurant at a service level.

- Proven experience in food service management and operations

- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus

- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices

- Ability to lead a diverse team effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
