Retail Sales Associate - Floral
POSITION OVERVIEW

If you love people and flowers, we hope you will consider joining our company. The Sales Associate is responsible for providing friendly and extraordinary customer service both in person and over the phone while helping spread the joy of flowers to as many people as possible!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide superior customer service.
Assist customers in store with floral and product selections.
Accurately completes point of sale transactions.
Answer the phone and direct the customer through the floral buying process with great listening and sales skills.
Maintain inventory, appearance and cleanliness of sales floor.
Use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation on floral orders.
Other duties as needed and required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
Passion for customer service with a desire for perfection.
Team player with a spirit of kindness and compassion.
Excellent communication skills.
Calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
Friendly, outgoing, and positive personality.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of florals or experience in floral industry is helpful.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Full time work schedule including weekend and holiday availability.

Ability to stand for extended periods (the whole work day)

Regular lifting of up to 30 lbs
