Conservation Education Manager:

Wildlife Forever, a national non-profit conservation organization, is seeking an experienced conservation education manager. Candidates must be outgoing, very organized, self-starting, creative, and excel in abilities to multi-task. Experience with core principals of conservation (fishing, hunting, natural resource management and environmental education) is required. Skills in program management, communications, marketing, and customer service is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have comfort and skills public speaking and presenting information about natural resource issues. This position will directly manage The Art of Conservation branded programs and will represent Wildlife Forever's numerous educational initiatives to sponsors, funders and the general public. Candidates must have the following experience:

- Highly organized with time management skills

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Experience with fishing, hunting and natural resource issues.

- Program/Account management

- High proficiency with MS Office Suite and database management skills

- Working with K-12 students

- Graphic design

- Budgeting

- Environmental education

Duties:

• Manage the Art of Conservation youth education program, encompassing the Fish Art Contest and the Songbird Art Contest.
• Develop a strategic growth plan in partnership with local, nationwide, and international organizations.
• Expand participation through collaboration with program stakeholders, sponsors, state agencies, and educator networks.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and new program sponsors and develop sponsorship materials and solicitations.
• Create educational resources for teachers and students to accompany the Art of Conservation programs, including lesson plans, webinars, and teacher training.
• Attend and present at conferences and events to network and promote the Art of Conservation programs.
• Build and nurture relationships with sponsors and media contacts.
• Partner with the Marketing Manager to update and maintain the Wildlife Forever website.
• Support organizational staff with program development and promotion as needed.
• Co-manage community events to promote Wildlife Forever's mission and programs.
• Administrative duties as needed, including answering phones, responding to general emails, shipping and receiving products, etc.
