Who We Are Looking ForA Quality Assurance Specialist-Primary Investigator to conduct Incident Investigations in compliance with all Federal and New York State regulations pertaining to OPWDD, NYSED, and The New York State Justice Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a regionally accredited two-year college or technical school; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3 years related experience:
- Certificate of Completion for investigator training through OPWDD, The Justice Center, InterAgency Council of Developmental Disabilities Agencies, or Labor Relations Alternatives
- or 1 year of other investigatory experience with the ability to receive a certificate of completion for one of the above listed investigator training curriculums.
- 3 years related experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism or other human services field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Computer Skills:
- Word processing, E-mail and database software, apple and google suite programs.

- Conducts incident investigations as assigned
- Serves as a resource in providing education and training on incidents and other related quality assurance standards
- Participate in entering incident information into multiple databases on an as needed basis
- Participates in the Incident On-Call system
- Maintains a working knowledge of regulations and agency quality assurance standards.
- Assists Quality Assurance Department with other quality assurance tasks as assigned.
