Job description

Wilkes Engineering Group LLC is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing structural engineering firm in beautiful Northeast Georgia. 

· Position: Full-time

· Location: Cleveland, GA

· Pay: $55k to $120k (Commensurate with experience)

· Work Hours: A 40-hour work week with flexible work hours that include the traditional 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday schedule or an option to work a 4/10 work schedule Monday to Thursday or a 4/9 work schedule Monday to Thursday with a ½ day on Friday

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform structural analysis of simple and complex structures.

· Prepare calculations, design drawings, letters and other engineering documents

· Perform inspections to ensure structures are built in general conformance with the contract documents

· Investigate structural failures and damages caused by tornados, hurricanes, vehicular impacts, fire, flood, etc.

Education Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Experience Requirements

We are currently seeking entry level and experienced structural engineers.

Preferred Software Skills

RISA, AutoCAD, Revit
