Wilkes protection services is hiring skilled Security Dispatchers. the ideal candidte is at least 18 years old and able to work varying shifts both in office and in field based locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering emergency calls: Respond to incoming calls for security assistance, assess the situation, and dispatch the appropriate security personnel or emergency services.
• Monitoring systems: Keep a vigilant eye on alarm, fire, and camera systems to detect any unauthorized access or activities within the premises.
• Coordinating responses: Serve as the central hub for coordinating responses to security incidents and ensuring timely and effective action.
• Record-keeping: Log all security incidents and dispatch activities in detailed reports for future reference and analysis.
• Access control: Manage the issuance and tracking of keys and access cards to authorized personnel, maintaining secure access to sensitive areas.
• Emergency instructions: Provide clear and concise instructions to security personnel during emergencies to ensure a coordinated response.
• Scheduling patrols: Schedule and dispatch security personnel for regular patrols and specific assignments to optimize coverage and response times.
• Inter-agency collaboration: Work closely with law enforcement and other emergency responders during incidents requiring external intervention.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent: A basic educational foundation is required, with additional training in security or emergency management being advantageous.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage calls and coordinate with various teams.
• Attention to detail: Ability to monitor multiple systems and maintain accurate records.
• Problem-solving: Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills to handle emergencies and unexpected situations.
• Technological proficiency: Familiarity with security systems, surveillance cameras, and access control systems.
