SUMMARY: The injection-molding Operator must be detail oriented, while maintaining an efficient and productive pace. Will maintain a clean and safe working area and are responsible for the quality of their own production parts. Operators will become involved in process control and problem solving through experience and training. Operators will be certified after 2 weeks of employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
· Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
· Attending to an injection-molding machine.
· Packing good parts.
· Grinding runners and nonconforming parts.
· Sorting good parts from bad.
· Trimming flash and cutting gates.
· Reading the schedule board for mold / color changes.
· Proper labeling of boxes/verify shelf labels. Required to put operator ID on label/box.
· Readingand understanding the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
· Assembling boxes for your shift and 2 hours into the next shift.
· Notifying support staff of non-conforming product.
· Understand and apply the Quality Management System
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
