What is the Lead Cook experience?
As the Lead Cook, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. Your main responsibility is ensuring that the food production meets high standards.
In this position, your tasks will involve reviewing menus and recipes to plan food preparation activities. You'll oversee the kitchen operations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring everything runs smoothly. It'll be up to you to organize and delegate tasks for small batch cooking, as well as troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the process. Additionally, you'll lend a hand in training and orienting new kitchen staff members.
When necessary, you'll step in to assist the Sous Chef with various responsibilities such as purchasing, staff scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
