Location of Position: 

Austin, TX

The Position:

As a Willbanks Field Operations Specialist you’ll be responsible for overseeing the service and maintenance of boilers for our customers. You’ll be responsible for job walks, estimating, and assisting sales with completing quotes. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinating service appointments, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently maintaining customer satisfaction. 

What you’ll do

· Ensure installations and repairs are completed in a timely manner and meet or exceed client expectations.

· Develop service plans and budgets, maintaining accurate records of service work.

· Plan and lay-out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, guides, codes, and work orders.

· Work directly with our boiler technicians to solve application-based problems when necessary. 

· Guide team in troubleshooting heating boilers, complex heating systems, and fuel power boilers.

· Serve as the primary escalation point for field team members and field’s voice to our management team.

· Responsible for developing layout for systems including pipe valve fittings for domestic and hydronic systems.

· Develop relationships with sub-contractors and vendors.

· Responsible for estimating and quoting smaller service jobs and repairs.

· Support all job estimates and quotes for repairs and replacement.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

· Coordinate preventative maintenance tasks according to established protocols. 

· Enforce maintenance standards for tools, vehicles, uniforms, worksite, and shop cleanliness.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of field technician experience
• Eight plus (8 ) years of estimating heating experience (HVAC) industry 
• Leadership experience supervising field technicians 

· Knowledge of how to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
