Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Plan and coordinate Corporate Access events to facilitate the exchange of ideas and build relationships between company management and William Blair institutional sales and trading staff and clients. Plan all event details, including meeting objectives, attendees, required meeting materials and logistics. Collaborate with Research staff to compile and prepare necessary meeting materials.
  • Develop relationships with investor relations teams of companies targeted by Research, Sales and Trading management. Coordinate event details with company management teams. Utilize CRM system to record all company contacts and interactions.
  • Create marketing materials to promote Corporate Access events. Ensure that direct marketing, web site content and presentation materials align with firm branding standards.
  • Provide on-site assistance at Corporate Access events where necessary, including resolution of any logistical or meeting issues.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of Corporate Access events. Maintain a database of pertinent Corporate Access information for analysis and reporting.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports to summarize event activities and key performance metrics. Analyze CRM reports to assess costs and ROI of events. Provide Corporate Access performance metrics to management for use in setting targets and Analyst reviews.
  • Perform event follow-up activities, including gathering and summarizing post-event feedback from attendees. Ensure client satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Develop an understanding of industry trends and best practices in Corporate Access.
  • Ensure all work activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5-10 years of experience in a corporate access role, marketing or investor relations role required
  • Series 7 & 63 must be obtained within first 6 months of employment
  • Project management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple functions
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem resolution skills
