Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Design, modify, test, implement and maintain firm software applications. Serve as a key contributor in the full software development lifecycle. Ensure software development activities comply with firm standards and procedures.
• Plan, coordinate and execute software development projects. Communicate project status and issues that may impede project success to management.
• Participate in software design meetings. Synthesize user business requirements and create detailed technical specifications based on conceptual application design.
• Lead the testing of new or modified application software. Analyze testing results and software code to determine root causes of bugs or errors and resolve issues.
• Resolve technical issues, collaborating with other IT professionals and vendors as necessary.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance software lifecycle activities to ensure application design and maintenance tasks are effective, efficient and integrated with necessary architecture and security protocols.
• Develop tools and training aids for application users.
• Develop and maintain complete application documentation, including conceptual and detailed designs, test cases, production implementation plans, and maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure staff to plan, test and document application specific business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
• Monitor industry trends that may impact software development solutions. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Additional responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related subject matter required
• 5 - 8 years of experience in software development required, preferably in a financial services environment
• Hands on experience in implementing Microsoft BI/Azure BI solutions like Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Power Apps, Power Flows (Automate).
• Strong knowledge on Common Data Model (CDM), Common Data Services (CDS) and Power BI Data Flows & Power BI Data Sets
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, Power Shell scripting and other technologies
• Financial Services experience preferred
• Strong project management and prioritization skills
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions
• Attention to detail and quality
• Detailed knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem resolution skills

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $120,000 - $140,000 at the time of posting. Base salary does not include other forms of compensationor benefits.
