Overview

A team-minded and solution-orientated people-person with expert communication skills who will provide excellent guest service and support through the end of August for our Front Office operations.

Responsibilities

Guest Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and retrieve their luggage.
• Escort guests to their room, while explaining room facilities and hotel amenities.
• Transport departing guests’ luggage from rooms to lobby, ensuring that all guest items and baggage has been accounted for.
• Assist with keeping lobby area clean and orderly.
• Ensure that luggage has been stored safely according to prescribed procedures.
• Awareness of events and VIPs each day, ensuring smooth operation.
• Other dues as requested by ownership and management.

Personal Responsibilities

• Responsible for thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Always ensuring a professional appearance and attitude.
• Operate courteously and efficiently at all times. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and written, with all level of colleagues and guests.
• Must maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel needs.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and colleague information.

Skills

• Understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email)

Qualifications

• 1 years’ hospitality experience, preferably in the luxury hotel arena.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighting less than or equal to 80 lbs.
• Ability to reach overhead, below the keens – including bending, twisting, and stopping.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
