Medium-sized Civil Litigation firm located in downtown West Palm Beach seeks a legal assistant with a minimum of one (1) year experience in an insurance defense position to support 1-2 insurance defense attorneys as follows:
- Assist in drafting and e-filing pleadings, notices, discovery responses and other legal memoranda
- Manage and maintain electronic directory of litigation case files
- Perform various data entry tasks to update case files
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations and expert witness conferences
- Provide timely updates to the firm's clients and claims examiners
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technological expertise, attention to detail and professional etiquette in all verbal/written communications. Candidates with large law firm backgrounds/skillsets are strongly encouraged to apply and will be given preferential treatment.
