Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. Seeking at least five years of experience in Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical setting. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and contributing to the overall efficiency of the medical office.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and manage medical scheduling efficiently
- Maintain and update patient records using medical records software
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Manage front desk tasks such as check-in, check-out, and patient registration
- Familiarity with medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Experience working in a ophthalmology office is a plus
- Prior experience with Prior Authorizations and EMR

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of basic medical procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures is beneficial
- Knowledge of Eyefinity or Athena ideal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
